Mumbai Biryani

An amazing fusion of cultures:

Mumbai, sometimes known as the “city of dreams,” is a cultural melting pot. People from many walks of life, backgrounds, and countries come together in this metropolis to weave diverse experiences. The local cuisine has been greatly influenced by this blending of cultures, producing a mouthwatering variety of eclectic and endearing meals.

 Ingredients:

  • Beef (boiled)
  • kg 2 Rice (boiled and drained) 1 kg
  • Bombay Biryani Masala 1 packet
  • Potatoes (boiled and chopped) 1/2 kg
  • Onions (sliced) 4
  • Garlic Ginger Paste 2 tablespoons
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Tomatoes (chopped) 4 pieces
  • Green Chillies 8 pieces
  • Mint (chopped) 1 cup
  • Lemon (sliced) 2 pieces
  • Saffron Color 1/4 teaspoon
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Kewra 1 tablespoon
  • Oil 1 cup

Step by Step Instructions – Preparation Recipe

Heat oil in a saucepan and add onion and fry till golden.

.2. Add meat, garlic and ginger paste and fry it.

.3. Then add green chillies, tomatoes and curd, cook on medium flame for 10-15 minutes.

.4. Add Bombay Biryani spices and potatoes and fry them. When the oil separates, remove from the stove.

.5. Add half the rice in a large saucepan, then add meat, mint and lemon slices and add the remaining rice on it.

.6. Add saffron, milk and kewra and cover and let the biryani steam for 10 minutes.

.7. Remove from the serving dish and serve the hot Bombay Biryani.
